Barbara

There’s something for everyone in Barbara’s sound: 70s US AM radio, a dash of English music hall, the effortless catchiness of a Broadway musical, a sprinkling of sequinned power pop, luscious strings and glorious golden harmonies.

In 2022 Barbara toured the UK as the support act for The Divine Comedy. Neil Hannon has said of Barbara that, ‘They are so up my street … really tight songwriting, very poptastic!‘ During the tour with the Divine Comedy, Barbara received praise from Phil Jupitus and Adam Kay.

Owen Kennedy

Combined with classical musical influences and lyrical nods to introspection and connection, Owen fuses witty jazz with an indie rock sensibility.

‘Kennedy has crafted a deliberately madcap oevre; British as hell and masquerading as high-brow theatre. If that isn’t the vena cava of rock n’ roll, you haven’t been paying attention.’– Divide & Conquer (Mr Free)

‘Melding his introspective writing style with a flair for the grandiose and theatrical, this is not an artist that you’re likely to hear and forget about in a hurry.’– CLOUT
